Open Format in Manage. It uses the same list as New Event, without the type: an Individual event stays individual, a Ryder Cup stays a Ryder Cup. A new pick saves straight away.
- Carryovers (Individual Match Play): a halved hole carries over to the next hole won.
- Spin off the low man (Match Play and Ryder Cup): the low handicap in each match plays to scratch.
- Team best-ball events don’t have a Format card. Each round picks its game in Rounds & Formats.
Switching after scores are in
On an individual event, Manage asks first: The scores already in stay, and every board shows them under the new format. Tap Switch to go ahead.
Good to knowOnce players or teams are entered you can’t switch between one-ball team formats (teams by name) and own-ball formats (players on teams). Scramble works either way.
Defending champion (Ryder Cup)
Under Defending champion, pick None (first to the target wins, a tie is a tie) or the side that holds the cup. The holder retains it on a tie, so the board shows what each side needs to retain or win. See Ryder Cup scoring.
