Stroke Play

One Field. One Leaderboard.

Net, gross or Stableford. Strokes land on the right holes automatically. Nobody checks the math because nobody has to.

Handicaps Are Where It Falls Apart

Stroke play is the simplest format in golf until handicaps enter the picture. Then it becomes a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

Nobody Agrees on the Net Number

Strokes go on the hardest holes by stroke index, not spread evenly. Half the field gets it wrong. The result gets argued at the bar.

Cards Get Totalled Twice

Paper cards come in at different times, someone adds them up, someone else checks them. The winner is announced an hour after the last putt.

No Sense of the Race

Everyone wants to know where they stand. On paper, nobody does until it is over.

The Board Does the Math

Strokes on the Right Holes

Enter a handicap once and strokes are allocated by the course stroke index. Players see exactly which holes they get a shot on while they play.

Net, Gross or Stableford

Rank the field however your event runs. Net and gross totals sit side by side, or switch to Stableford points scoring.

Live Positions With Ties

Positions update on every entered hole, with proper tie handling. Tap any player to see their full hole by hole scorecard.

One Link Per Group

Bucket players into their playing groups and one scorer enters the whole group from a single link. No link per player to hand out.

Common Questions

Does it handle net and gross scoring?
Yes. Enter each player handicap and the leaderboard shows the net result alongside the gross stroke total, so you can award both.
How are handicap strokes allocated?
Strokes are allocated by the course stroke index, so a player receives shots on the hardest holes first rather than spread evenly. Players with a handicap above 18 correctly receive two shots on the hardest holes.
Do you support Stableford?
Yes. Choose Stableford when you set the tournament up and the field is ranked on points instead of strokes, calculated against net par on each hole.
Can one person score for a whole group?
Yes. Put players into playing groups and each group gets a single scoring link. Whoever is keeping the card enters every player in that group from one screen.
Can players see their own scorecard?
Yes. Tapping a player on the leaderboard opens their hole by hole card with birdies and bogeys marked, so anyone can check a round at a glance.
Is this suitable for a club championship?
Yes. It handles a single ranked field of up to 28 players across one or more rounds, with totals carrying across rounds.
