Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains the cookies LeaderboardLive uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

1. Essential Cookies

We use a session cookie (set by Supabase, our authentication provider) to keep you signed in. This cookie is required for the service to work. Without it you'd have to log in on every page. It can't be disabled while using LeaderboardLive.

2. Analytics and Ads Cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use LeaderboardLive: page views, session activity, and general usage patterns. It helps us improve the product. It doesn't identify you personally and we don't use it for advertising. Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you accept, and declining or turning it off below removes it.

With your consent, we also use the Meta Pixel on our marketing pages (the home page, guides, blog and similar pages) to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. It sets Meta's cookies (_fbp and _fbc) and tells Meta which of those pages you visited. It never runs on leaderboards, scoring pages or your account. With the same consent, our server also tells Meta when you join the newsletter, create an account, create an event or make a purchase (with a hashed copy of your email), never your scores or players. Nothing from Meta loads until you accept, and declining or turning it off below removes its cookies.

We also keep a small note in your browser of how you first found us (the site that sent you and the first page you saw), so we can tell which channels bring people to LeaderboardLive. It stays on your device unless you create an account. In the UK and EU it's only saved after you accept, and declining or turning analytics off below deletes it.

When you first visit the site, you can accept or decline analytics and ads cookies from the banner. The essential sign-in cookie is always set. It's required for the service to work. Use the toggle below to turn them on or off at any time; the page will refresh to apply your choice.

4. What We Don't Use

  • No ad cookies or pixels on leaderboards, scoring pages or your account
  • Nothing beyond the essential sign-in cookie until you accept
  • We don't sell your data
