Ryder Cup

Run Your Own Ryder Cup.

Two teams. Three days. One number to clinch. Every match feeds the team score the second a hole is entered.

The Captain Becomes a Statistician

A Ryder Cup weekend is the best golf your group plays all year. Running one usually means somebody spends the whole trip doing arithmetic instead of playing.

The Points Math Never Adds Up

Halved matches are half a point. Every session has a different match count. Two guys add it up and get two different answers.

Pairings Live on a Napkin

Four Ball Saturday morning, Foursomes in the afternoon, Singles on Sunday. Rewriting the pairing sheet each session is its own part time job.

Nobody Knows What It Takes to Clinch

The whole point is the race to the number. If nobody can say what today needs, the tension never shows up.

Common Questions

How do I set up a Ryder Cup style tournament?
Create a tournament, name your two teams, add your players and split them into sides. Then add a session for each round you plan to play and set the format for each. Setup takes about five minutes.
How are Ryder Cup points calculated?
Each match is worth one point. A win gives the full point to that side, and a halved match splits it half a point each. The team leaderboard adds it up live, including the total still needed to clinch.
Can I run different formats on different days?
Yes. Each session has its own format, so you can play Four Ball on Friday, Alternate Shot on Saturday and Singles on Sunday. All of it rolls into one set of standings.
How many players can play in a Ryder Cup weekend?
Up to 28 players, which covers a 12 a side cup with room to spare. Sides do not have to be even in size.
Do the players need accounts?
No. Players score from a link on their phone and never sign up for anything. Only the organizer creates an account.
What does it cost to run a Ryder Cup trip?
Setup and scoring are free. Unlocking the full tournament is a one time $40 for that event, not a subscription.
