Ryder Cup: pick sides and pair the matches

Name the two sides, put each player on one, then use the match builder to pair each round. Every match gets its own scoring link.

Organizer

Name the sides and pick them

  1. Open Players & sides. Type the names in Side one and Side two (they default to Team A and Team B).
  2. Add your players with Add players.
  3. The card asks Who’s on {side}? Tap names to send them to that side. Pick {other side} instead switches.
  4. With an even field, once one side has half the players everyone left goes to the other side.

To move someone, tap their name, then a name on the other side to swap them, or tap the other side.

Pair the matches

  1. Open Matches and pick a Round chip.
  2. Four Ball, Scramble and Alternate Shot: tap two players from one side, then the two they’re playing. Singles: tap one player, then their opponent.
  3. Each match saves itself, and the next one opens. A round gets a ✓ when it’s fully paired.
  • Tap a saved match to change who’s in it, then tap Done. In Singles, tap the match, then Change players.
  • Tap × on a match to remove it. Both sides go back to the available players.
  • Drag the ≡ handle to change the match order. Matches renumber 1, 2, 3, and their links and scores move with them.
  • Clear all matches in Round N puts everyone back so you can pair the round again. Matches with scores stay.
Good to knowOnce a match has a score it stays in its place and can’t be dragged past. Removing or changing a match with scores asks first. Moving a player who’s already in a match takes them out of it; a partner keeps the spot.
