Stroke Play

Every stroke counts and the lowest score wins. With handicaps the board ranks on net, and you can flip it to gross.

OrganizerPlayerSpectator

Each player’s net score on a hole is their gross score minus the handicap strokes they get there. Rounds add up across a multi-round event.

How the board ranks

  • By score to par over the holes played, so a player at −1 through 9 sits above one at even through 18.
  • Ties are ordered by the other view (gross on a net board), but both players still show as tied, for example T2.
  • There’s no countback. Agree a tiebreak with your group before you play if you need one.

What you see

Columns: Pos, Player, To par, Thru, then R1, R2 for multi-round events and the total. The last column reads Net or Gross, following the view. Thru shows F when a player has finished, and 2 (11) for two holes played from a shotgun start on 10.

Example, net: Josh (23) shoots 90, net 67 (−5). Sam (30) shoots 102, net 72 (E). Neil (12) shoots 85, net 73 (+1). On net, Josh leads. On gross, Neil leads with 85.
