Pick up

Out of a hole? Tap Pick up. It records a net double bogey: no Stableford points, and it only counts for your team if everyone else scores worse.

ScorerPlayer

A Pick up button appears on an empty score in games where picking up is normal:

  • Stableford and Stableford Tilt.
  • 2-Man Best Ball, Shamble and 2 Best Balls of 4.
  • Ryder Cup Four Ball matches.

It shows once someone on the card has a score on the hole, or straight away when you’re scoring one player. It isn’t offered in Stroke Play, Scramble or Alternate Shot, where every stroke counts.

Pick up records par + 2 + the strokes you get on the hole: at least a net double bogey. That’s 0 Stableford points, or −4 in Tilt (multiplied if you’re on tilt). It shows as an ordinary number afterwards, so + and − still change it.

TipIn team games a hole counts as soon as enough teammates have a score, so a blank never holds the board up for long. A pick-up still keeps the card tidy and lets the result go final.
