Live shouldn't mean complicated
A lot of apps that call themselves "live" only update once a full round is submitted, and half of them bury the leaderboard behind a different tab than where you actually enter scores. LeaderboardLive updates per hole, and the leaderboard is one tap away from scoring, not a separate feature to go find.
Where instant updates actually matter
- Match play, where the score swings hole to hole and everyone wants to know who's up right now.
- Multi-group tournaments, spread across the course with no shared scoreboard.
- Spectators back at the clubhouse who just want to glance at a link, not open an app.
Why we built this
We tried the other golf scoring apps first. Every one of them made us install something, make an account, or dig through a menu built for GPS and stat tracking just to find where scoring lived. None of that is what you need when you're standing on the first tee trying to get twelve guys scoring before the group ahead clears the fairway.
So we built the version that does one thing: you send a link, someone taps it, they're scoring. No app store, no sign-up screen, no settings to configure first. If it takes longer to explain how to use LeaderboardLive than to just start playing, we got it wrong.
